Necessidades de formação dos professores e condições de implementação do programa da disciplina de AutoCAD 2D no curso técnico-profissional grupo de tecnologia e indústria (ETP-GTI), área de especialização em construção civil, em Díli Timor-Leste: que impacto na qualidade das aprendizagens dos alunos

Abstract

Este trabalho de investigação, intitulado Necessidades de formação dos professores e condições de implementação do programa da disciplina de AutoCAD 2D no curso técnicoprofissional ou vocacional de tecnologia e indústria (ETP-GTI), área de especialização em construção civil, em Díli Timor-Leste – que impacto na qualidade das aprendizagens dos alunos, surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação, Especialização em Desenvolvimento Curricular e Inovação Educativa, da Universidade do Minho. Esta investigação procurou responder às inquietações geradas nas necessidades de formação para a implementação da disciplina de AutoCAD 2D. Assume-se como um processo de construção deste programa, nas áreas técnicas em Timor, como um sistema de referência que sustenta o modelo técnico. Deste modo, trata-se de um trabalho que procurou responder aos requisitos e centra-se na temática formação dos professores (necessidades de formação) da disciplina de AutoCAD 2D, em Timor. Procura alertar os decisores políticos e sugere que tomem decisões no âmbito da organização e realização de formação com e para os professores da ETP-GTI, escolas técnicas públicas implantadas em Timor. Este alerta e sugestões poderão ser eixos essenciais para o desenvolvimento do ensino técnico-profissional ou vocacional. Assim, com esta investigação, procurou-se captar, conhecer e analisar as representações dos professores e dos alunos destas escolas, que desafios essenciais são assumidos por estas escolas. Com este interesse, o estudo que se apresenta parte da análise da implementação da matéria/programa de AutoCAD 2D, realizada atualmente nas escolas técnico-profissionais. Recorreu a técnicas e processos metodológicos, principalmente, qualitativos, mas também com recurso a técnicas quantitativas, de forma integrada, uma vez que ajusta dois tipos de processos, de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa, de forma a melhor captar as perceções do diretor nacional, dos diretores da escolas, dos professores e dos alunos a frequentar o 12º ano das três escolas técnicas públicas existentes (ETP AX, BX e CX) e dos alunos que ingressaram nas universidades, seguida da análise dos dados obtidos através do preenchimento dos questionários (16 AF e 15 AI, N=31) e da realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas (1 DN, 3 DE, 3 PD e 8 PO, N=15) e respetiva interpretação dos resultados. Em síntese, concluímos que a escola técnica que existe em Timor precisa, urgentemente, realizar a formação dos professores das disciplinas técnicas, em geral, e a dos que lecionam a disciplina de AutoCAD 2D, em particular, de modo a responder às exigências decorrentes da necessidade dos alunos, com interesses projetados num mundo que se apresenta global e às exigências técnicas específicas daquela disciplina, para assim se poder afirmar, com exigência de qualidade, como uma escola técnica de referência, ou modelo, em Timor-Leste.

This research, entitled Training needs of teachers and conditions of implementation of the discipline of AutoCAD 2D program in technical-professional course of technology and industry (ETP-GTI), area of expertise in construction, in Dili, Timor-Leste - that impact on the quality of student learning, arises within the Master of Education Specialization in Curriculum and Educational Innovation Development of the University of Minho. This research sought to answer the concerns generated the training needs for the implementation of the discipline of AutoCAD 2D. It stands as a process of building this program in the technical areas in Timor as a reference system that sustains the technical model. Thus, it is a work that sought to meet the requirements and focuses on thematic teacher education (training needs) the discipline of AutoCAD 2D, in Timor. Search alert policy makers and suggests to take decisions within the organization and implementation of training for teachers and with the ETP-GTI, public technical schools established in Timor. This alert and suggestions may be essential for the development axes of technical and vocational education. So with this research, we tried to capture, understand and analyze the representations of teachers and students of these schools, which are key challenges faced by such schools. With this interest, the study that part is presented of the analysis of the implementation of the matter of AutoCAD 2D, carried out at present in the technical-professional schools. It appealed to technical and mainly, qualitative, methodological trials, but also with resource to technical quantitative, of form integrated, since adjusts two kinds of trials, of quantitative and qualitative nature, of form to better grasp the perception of the national director, of the directors of the schools, of the professors and of the students it frequent the 12º year of the three technical colleges existing public (ETP AX, BX and CX) and of the students that entered In the universities, followed by the analysis of the facts obtained through the filling of the questionnaires (16 AF and 15 AI, N = 31) and of the achievement of interviews semi structures (1 DN, 3 DE, 3 PD and 8 PO, N = 15) and respective interpretation of the results. In synthesis, we conclude that the technical college that exists in Timor is necessary, urgently, carry out the formation of the professors of the technical disciplines, in general, and to than teach the discipline of AutoCAD 2D, privately, of way it answer the resulting demands of the need of the students, with interests projected in a world that is presented global and to the specific technical demands of that discipline, for like this itself be able to affirm, with demand of quality, as a technical college of reference, or model, in Timor-Leste.
